WASHINGTON, D.C. - Former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez has been convicted of accepting bribes from three businessmen in exchange for political favors. The bribery included cash, gold bars, and a luxury car valued at nearly $630,000.

FBI agents seized the gold bars, worth nearly $150,000, and cash totaling more than $480,000 during a raid on Menendez's home and office. The cash was mostly found in stacks of $100 bills.
